BC Ferries Announces Service Improvements for Hornby-Denman Route

BC Ferries has agreed to several service improvements for the Denman-Hornby route including operating the Quinitsa ferry on Route 22 in summer 2023, moving the Kahloke ferry to assist on Route 21 during peak season, expanding the Baynes Sound Connector to carry at least 70 cars by 2024 or 2025, partial electrification of the Baynes Sound Connector, and placing a new Island Class ferry on Route 22 in 2026.
